Brahmastra Shoot: Why Did Alia Bhatt And Ranbir Kapoor Rush Back To Mumbai From Varanasi?
We have the deets! Co-stars and lovers, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor returned to Mumbai three days before the wrap-up of their film Brahmastra. The Varanasi shoot had to be put on abrupt halt and the crew of the film had to get back to Bay urgently after the lead actress complained of stomach bug
Last evening, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor returned to the city from Varanasi,
where they were shooting for a schedule of their upcoming flick Brahmastra. But
three days before, the wrap-up the shoot had to be put on abrupt halt and the
reason is the leading lady, Alia Bhatt. Reportedly, the Raazi actress had to
along with her beau Ranbir and the crew of Brahmastra had to return to Mumbai
urgently after she complained of stomach bug.
A report in Mirror states, the on-screen and off-screen couple were scheduled to shoot a song over the next three days but it had to be postponed when Alia fell ill. A source close to them informed Mirror, “Alia continued to work but Ayan decided to call off the shoot. The team will now return to the city in November for the song.” The source further added that “Alia will soon be consulting a specialist and taking some time off to recuperate in Mumbai before resuming work.”
Since Alia and Ranbir were in Varanasi for their schedule, the couple
was often getting spotting in temples and hotels. The fans had then taken to
social media and pictures of then had gone viral. The duo enjoyed a boat ride
as they shot for a scene on the Ganga Ghat. The film, which also stars megastar
Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, has earlier been shot in Bulgaria and Mumbai.
