BOYCOTT BHUJ ON OTT: Ajay Devgn's Fans Demand Big Screen Release Of His Film; 'Mass Star Ki Entry Mass Parde Pe Honi Chahie'
Thanks to the lockdown and theatres being shut, many filmmakers are opting to release their films on digital platforms. The recent example is that of Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana's film Gulabo Sitabo that released on Amazon Prime today. Even Karan Johar's production venture Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl starring Janhvi Kapoor in the lead is geared up to release on Netflix. However, it seems, Ajay Devgn's fans do not want him to release his film Bhuj: The Pride Of India on any OTT platform and hence, are trending 'Boycott Bhuj on OTT' on Twitter.

Ajay Devgn's fans feel that this film deserves a big screen release and it will lose its thrill if it is released on OTT. A fan of the Singham star wrote on Twitter, "Mega Star Only  Deserves 70MM mega Screen, not A 6 inch tiny screen.. @ajaydevgn Sir BOYCOTT BHUJ ON OTT." Another one even demanded the film to be tax free. The tweet read, "The Inspiring Ind-Pak story should not be displayed to limited audience on OTT. It should release on Theatres & made Tax Free all over India. Please Please Ajay sir do it for  everyone! BOYCOTT BHUJ ON OTT."

Check out some of the tweets below. Fans are pretty clear that they don't want to watch this film on the small screen.

Bhuj: The Pride Of India also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Parineeti Chopra along with Ajay Devgn. The film chronicles the story of around 300 women who helped the Indian Air Force during the Indo-Pak war in 1971. It is slated to release in August.
