Bombay High Court Allows Kangana Ranaut To Join Sanjay Raut As Parties In Petition
The Bombay High Court today allowed Kangana Ranaut to join Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut as one of the parties in the petition filed against BMC for demolishing her office
Kangana Ranaut, who is in Manali with her family, has been very active on social media. She was in the news after the BMC carried out the demolition work at her office in Mumbai and through social media, she has been raising her voice against it. Reportedly, BMC demolished parts of Kangana's office terming it as 'illegal'. This came after the actress engaged in a war of words with Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut. Later, the Manikarnika actress moved to the Bombay High Court and filed a petition against BMC, demanding Rs 2 crore for damages. Today, the Bombay High Court allowed the actress to join Sanjay Raut as parties in the petition.
As reported by ANI, the High Court has allowed the actress to add Sanjay Raut's name as one of the parties in the petition. It is reported that the High Court stated that if Kangana is going to argue on the basis of Sanjay Raut's speech submitted by her lawyer, she should be given an opportunity to be heard.
In an affidavit shared, Kangana argued that she has not carried out any illegal altercations in her office. "I deny that I have carried out unlawful additions and alterations as alleged or at all," the affidavit read.
Apart from this, Kangana has also been in the headlines for demanding justice for late Sushant Singh Rajput. Through social media, she has been charging against nepotism, gangism and more in Bollywood. Recently, she also made headlines for calling Urmila Matondkar a 'soft porn' star.
