Bollywood actor Boman Irani’s mother Jerbanoo Irani is no more. The actor’s mother passed away on Wednesday morning. She was 94. Boman Irani shared a picture of his late mother and made an emotional post. He informed everyone about his mother’s demise. Irani revealed his mother passed away peacefully in her sleep. The actor mentioned how his mother Jer played the role of both mother and father to him since she was 32. He called her a ‘Star’ and revealed what she always asked him to do.
On Instagram, the 3 Idiots actor informed his followers Instagram, “Mother Irani passed away peacefully in her sleep early this morning. Jer was 94.” He opened up about how “She played the role of both mother and father to me since she was 32.” Talking about his late mother, the actor wrote, “What a spirit she was.” “Filled with funny stories that only she could tell. The longest arm that always dug deep into her pockets, even when there wasn’t much there,” Boman Irani wrote alongside his mother’s picture. Irani spoke about how his mother was passionate about food and songs. “When she sent me to the movies, she made sure all the compound kids came with me. ‘Don’t forget the popcorn’ she would say. She loved her food and her songs and she could fact-check Wikipedia and IMDb in a flash. Sharp, sharp, sharp, till the very end.”
Boman Irani opened up about how his mother asked him to make people smile and happy with his acting. He shared, “She always said ‘“You are not an actor for people to praise you. You are an actor only so you can make people smile.” “Make people happy” She said.” Talking about her last moments, the actor shared his mother asked for Malai Kulfi and some Mango. He wrote, “Last night she asked for Malai Kulfi and some mango. She could have asked for the moon and the stars if she wished.” He added, “She was, and always will be.......A Star.”
