The actress is helping everyone through her different initiatives. With plasma therapy being used in the treatment of Coronavirus affected patients, Bhumi has been trying to get connected with people across the country to donate plasma. She has also started an initiative to make things easier and the process smoother.
The Toilet Ek Prem Katha actress made a post on her Instagram stories and revealed she is pausing the 'plasma warrior' initiative. She wrote, "To comply with government directives we are pausing #plasmawarrior." She added, "Thank you everyone who came forward and helped someone in need." Bhumi made the announcement and informed everyone about the new development. The actress continued to thank everyone who came forward to help in times of need.

Meanwhile, the actor's post comes after the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) dropped plasma therapy from the COVID-19 treatment protocol. It was only recently when actor Milind Soman revealed he was sad after he couldn't donate plasma due to a lack of antibodies. Before that, Sophie Choudry and Bipasha Basu had raised questions on the effectiveness of plasma therapy in treating Coronavirus positive patients.
