Bhoot Trailer Launch: Karan Johar Says, 'Farah Khan Felt A Ghost Was In Her Room During The Shoot Of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'
The trailer of Bhoot: The Haunted Ship was launched online some time back and it’s quite spooky, standing true to its title. They often say that when you’re shooting for a ghost film, you tend to experience something paranormal on sets, so at the trailer launch, we asked producer Karan Johar if he experienced anything spooky while on sets.

The man went back in severe flashback and narrated an incident from the days of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. He started off by saying, “I remember we were shooting for Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in Scotland and on the streets and jungles, there used to be a lot of talk about a Loch Ness Monster.  We were staying at an Inn and were supposed to shoot for the title track of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, 2 days later. Farah Khan was with me at the recce. Later on, I went to sleep and around 11 pm, someone was loudly banging my door; I got up with a startle, went to the door and it was Farah Khan in a Mickey Mouse pajama suit.”
In the same vein, he added, “Farah scared me off as she spoke about experiencing a ghost –like situation in her room. That night, she slept in my room. She was afraid through that night and even got me a little worried. Main aise thik tha lekin uska khauff dekhke main zyada darr gaya. So that's the only 'close to ghost' story that has happened in my life.”

Bhoot: The Haunted Ship is directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh, produced by Dharma Productions and is slated to release on Feb 21, 2020.
