Says director Anees Bazmi, “Kartik mein shararat bhi hai aur seriousness bhi hai. He brings a blend of scares and laughter in the film, and in that poster he gives us a glimpse of what the audience should expect from him and the film.”
“Nothing like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has been seen before,” promises Anees.
The film’s highlight would be the face-off between Tabu and Kartik where the director says the latter will surprise all of us on March 25, 2022 when the film releases.
This is kuch-bhi-ho-sakta-hai territory. The laughter never stops. Kartik Aaryan’s comic timing already much talked-about after Punchnaama, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Luka Chuppi here reaches a crescendo of comicality. In his laughter-filled company even the prim and proper Tabu lets her hair down.
The 2007 prequel of the film featured Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and Shiney Ahuja. It was the official Hindi remake of the 1993 Malayalam comedy psychological thriller, Manichitrathazhu.
