Rajkummar wasn't himself aware of this until a friend pointed this out to him. The actor was swift to check the account and is all set to take the matter to the Mumbai cyber crime cell on Monday.

It is reported that the imposter has been sending messages to people on Facebook and telling them about casting requirements. In the process he is extracting money out of their pockets to fulfill his personal wishes and fantasies.

Not just that there have also been reports of obscene messages being sent out from the account.

Apart from raising a request to block the threat on Facebook, Rao has also taken to his handle to share a warning message that reads, "Guys, this is an imposter. I only have one account on FB which is a verified one. Be aware of such people. Usually actors have verified accounts. Don't trust the ones who don't."

Rajkummar is currently busy with the shoot of Subhash Chandra Bose's biopic web series. Because of his busy schedule, he wasn't able to check his account for quite sometime, and that's when this imposter began his crime.

A source close to Rajkummar informed, "All of this transpired while he was away from social media. Luckily, no one has lost money or been adversely affected. It is expected that the account will be pulled down by Facebook soon. Meanwhile, the officials of Cyber Crime Cell have been informed of it."
