Being Human Indeed: Salman Khan Ends Andaz Apna Apna Bitterness Completely, Promises Work To Masterji Saroj Khan
Good to see Salman Khan letting bygones be bygones. The Dabangg star's angst against ace choreographer Saroj Khan which stemmed from his thought that she favoured Aamir Khan in Andaz Apna Apna is firmly over. We saw Saroj Khan at his house in Ganpati last year and now we hear that he is making all arrangements to bringing Saroj Khan back in the thick of things. In the past, Saroj Khan and Salman worked in films like Biwi Ho Toh Aisi (1988) and Andaz Apna Apna (1994).

According to a report in Mid-Day, Salman met Saroj at his residence on Thursday. Saroj Khan had recently said that the industry had stopped offering her work. Salman asked her to meet him after he learnt about her predicament.

Salman asked Saroj Khan about what she's doing nowadays. She updated him that presently she has no film to choreograph and is only teaching Indian classical dance to young actresses. Hearing that, Salman promised her work. This would indeed go a long way in getting Saroj Khan back in full flow, and it will be so good when that happens. Of late, Saroj Khan has been doing just a song or two- work has been only little and far in between.

Salman and Saroj Khan patched up during his Ganpati celebration in 2018. "My 13-year-old grandson, Aryan, has been unwell for some time now. Being an ardent fan of Salman, he had expressed his wish to meet him. So, I had approached Sandhya (Ramachandran), who is part of his NGO Being Human. Next thing you know, Salman invited us over to his residence. He was so warm to Aryan and clicked many pictures with him. Salman also told him that when he gets better, he can join him on his film set," Saroj Khan revealed to Mid-Day.

Saroj Khan had earlier told Mumbai Mirror that she was to work with Katrina Kaif in Thugs of Hindostan but the actor refused to work on the song without rehearsals. "As the shoot was coming up, Katrina told the makers she wouldn’t do the song without rehearsals and I was summarily replaced with Prabhudheva.”

Saroj Khan has choreographed a song, pictured on Madhuri Dixit, in Kalank. In the same report to Mumbai Mirror, Masterji (as Saroj Khan is fondly called in the industry) had also said, "Four years after Gulaab Gang, I’ve choreographed another song for Madhuri. All through the film (Kalank) she makes others dance and never dances herself, then, in the climax, when Varun’s (Dhawan) Zafar enters the kotha, she breaks into a mujra. Tabahi is a sad, situational song with fast-paced beats. Madhuri and I danced our hearts out and I’m hopeful that after seeing it, people will remember Saroj Khan again. After just reading about it, Kangana Ranaut with whom I had worked in Tanu Weds Manu earlier, called me to do a song, Rajaji, in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.”
