Bebo Takes A Break From Bajrangi Bhaijaan

Kabir Khan is a benevolent director. As a married man, he perhaps understands Kareena Kapoor Khan, his leading lady, and her desire to be with her Nawab husband Saif Ali Khan. The actress has taken three days leave from work to be by ‘Saifu’s side during his promotion of Happy Ending. The actress boarded a flight from Delhi on Thursday evening and landed in Mumbai in a matter of a few hours. She will resume work on Kabir’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan on Monday again.

The actress plays a Hindu girl from Chandni Chowk in Delhi. The look of her character, as seen in the selfies she’s clicked with Salman recently, has been designed keeping that in mind. Designer Manish Malhotra who has worked on her get-up says, “As Salman's ladylove in the film, she plays a pivotal part. We had to be careful with the costumes designed for her. A lot of clothes have been sourced from Delhi. The colours and prints of her kurtis are on the brighter side. We’ve thrown in jootis and a pretty silver nose pin, slightly large, to give her character that look. Kareena loves her look in the film." 

Kabir started shooting for the film on Monday with Salman and Kareena. The film revolves around a father and a son, and Kareena plays the father’s love interest. The film is slated for Eid 2015. Besides shooting for Bajrani Bhaijaan, Salman has also been making time to oversee the arrangements and invitations for his sister Arpita’s wedding on November 18.
