In a recent interview, Ayushmann Khurrana who’s coming up with Bala, said that the word 'takla' used by Ujda Chaman makers for Sunny Singh's character, is quite derogatory
It’s
been long since the makers of Sunny Singh starrer Ujda Chaman and Ayushmann
Khurrana starrer Bala have been mired in controversy. Ever since the
mudslinging controversy has started for having similar plots in both the films,
SpotboyE is bringing you time-to-time updates exclusively from the makers
themselves. A few days back, the makers of Ujda Chaman released a new poster
announcing the new release date. Moving the film’s release date a week ahead Bala, the
makers have been calling the character ‘Takla’.
During a recent group interview with media, Ayushmann took a jibe at the makers for calling the character takla. Ayushmann believes that the word 'takla' is quite derogatory, which means it does not celebrate self-love. Speaking to media at the recently held press conference, Ayushmann said, “It isn't about just receding hair or baldness. It's about loving and discovering yourself more than anything else. We shot our film first, announced our film first. There's just one line which is similar otherwise it's a different film. I've seen the South (Kannada) film after we completed the shoot. Once you see the film you'll realise (the difference).” (ALSO READ: Bala Vs Ujda Chaman: Lawyers Of Both Parties Watch The Films, Will Submit Reports Tomorrow To The High Court- EXCLUSIVE)

I'm really confident about our film, it's a beautiful film and one of the best scripts I've ever read. Anybody can come up with the same idea."

Chaman and Bala will hit the theaters on November 1 and 7 respectively. Let’s
wait and watch who wins the audience’s hearts.
