Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurana is going through a tough time on a personal front as he has lost his father. On May 16, his father P Khurana, who was an astrologer by profession, passed away due to a prolonged incurable ailment in his hometown Mohali, Punjab. The actor’s spokesperson shared a statement announcing the tragic demise of Ayushmann’s father. The actor was seen performing the last rites of his father, however, he got brutally trolled for wearing sunglasses at his father's funeral.

In a video that has surfaced online, Khurrana was seen donning sunnies while doing the last rites of his father. Soon after this clip went viral, netizens started trolling the actor. Fans of Ayushmann came out in his support and slammed the trolls. P Khurrana had been keeping unwell for several years now. He was battling heart problems and was being treated at a private hospital in Mohali. His last rites were performed at Manimajra cremation ground in Chandigarh.
