Ayesha Takia Slams Trollers Ridiculing Her For Going Under The Knife

She was one of the most charming faces in her hey days and garnered popularity for essaying roles of a girl-next-door in films like Socha Na Tha, Dil Maange More and Taarzan: The Wonder Car among others. But her recent appearance at an event turned her into fodder for trolls.

Ayesha attended an event recently looking chic in a casual avataar, however one look at her face and it was evident that something has drastically changed. Her lips looked swollen, eyes lifted and cheeks fuller.

No sooner did the event pictures began doing the rounds of social media, did the trollers begin talking about her ‘changed’ face. Take a look at some of the tweets:

“When your husband is a rich businessman and you don’t know how to spend the money. *Shopping mistakes*#AyeshaTakia.”

“Maths gone wrong. Subtracting something and adding it at wrong place = zero.Ayesha Takia #AyeshaTakia,” wrote the other.

Some even compared her to Kim Kardashian and and Kylie Jenner.

Not the one to take it Ayesha posted an image of Instagram which seemed to be a reply to all the haters. She wrote, “You can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world, and there’s still going to be somebody who hates peaches.”

Later she went on to post another selfie with the message: “Crazzzy long arm .. me takin selfies! Y not lol! #StopSelfieShaming All u girls n guys who love urself enough to take ur own picture and feel good about it should be proud. Don't let anyone tell u to dim ur confidence and self love. We live in a world of judgements and bullying, so we need to rise above that n just be who we are and be proud of it. LOVE URSELF (sic).”

Ayesha Takia bid goodbye to the silver screen after getting married to Farhan Azmi in 2009. She welcomed a baby boy, Mikhail, in 2013. The actress was last seen in the 2010 film Paathshala opposite Shahid Kapoor.
