Aryan Khan And Seven Others Remanded In Judicial Custody; Interim Bail Plea To Be Heard On October 8-Reports
A Mumbai court rejected NCB's plea for further custody and sent Aryan Khan and seven others accused in Mumbai cruise drug bust case to judicial custody for 14 days, an Indian Express report has said. The court reportedly said that the NCB’s remand report was vague. Aryan Khan's lawyer is now moving interim bail for him. The plea will be heard at 11 am tomorrow.

Shah Rukh Khan's son was Thursday produced before the court in Mumbai for bail along with seven other accused in a case related to seizure of drugs onboard a cruise ship.

According to an India Today report, "Aryan Khan and the others who have been sent to judicial custody cannot be sent to a jail without a negative Covid-19 test report. As a result, they will spend Thursday night at the NCB office instead. They have been granted permission to meet their family members by the magistrate."

Aryan Khan was among those arrested by the NCB after a raid at a rave party on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai, on Saturday night. A Mumbai court on Monday denied the bail petition of Aryan Khan opposing the extension of Narcotics Control Bureau's custody and sent them in remand till October 7, multiple reports - from Indian Express, India Today and The Times Of India - said. Seven others were arrested with Aryan Khan, namely Munmun Dhamecha, Arbaaz Merchant, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Gomit Chopra, Nupur Sarika, and Vikrant Chhokar.

They were all presented in court on Thursday - where the NCB sought an extension of its custody of Aryan Khan and seven others accused in the case till October 11.
