Arun Govil Aka Ramayan's Ram Is UNHAPPY With Prabhas-Kriti Sanon’s Adipurush? Here’s How He Reacted To Om Raut’s Modern-Day Epic Saga
Everything appears to be going down south for Prabhas and Kriti Sanon’s Adipurush. The film has grabbed eyeballs for its unsatisfactory acting, poor VFX, second-rate dialogues and more. The audience was ultimately enraged by Om Raut’s output. However, a section of fans loved the modern-day epic saga.

Now, in a recent interaction with ABP News, "Ramayana is a matter of faith for us and to tamper with its form in any way is unacceptable." The veteran actor also pointed out that adding the concept of modernity and mythology about Ramayana is absolutely wrong. Arun asserted, "Movie's special effects are a different aspect, it's about presenting the characters in the right way, which has to be considered with utmost seriousness."

Amid much discussion, Manoj Muntashir's dialogue has drawn major furore on social media. Mr Govil also shared his views about the controversial lines spoken by Bajrang (Devdatta Nage), and said, "I don't support this kind of language in Ramayana"

The 65-year-old actor also stated that yet to come to terms with the Hollywood-styled Ramayana created by the makers.

Incidentally, the film and its makers have been on the receiving end ever since the release of Adipurush’s teaser. Saif Ali Khan was also slammed for his characterisation of Lankesh. However, Arun came to their rescue and said that the actors can't be blamed as their looks are decided by the makers. "I don't understand what the makers thought of making this film," the veteran actor said.

On the contrary, the makers had claimed multiple times that they have made Adipurush for new-age kids. But Arun has a question for the makers, "If the makers have made this film for children, then ask them, have they liked it?"

Now, amid the mixed reactions, a video of Arun Govil, who played Ram in Ramanand Sagar’s serial Ramayan, is going viral online. In the video, he can be seen speaking against Adipurush and maintaining that one should not play with India's ‘Sanskriti’.

However, the said clip is old and not the actor's reaction to Adipurush.

Adipurush also stars Kriti Sanon as Janki, Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh, and Sunny Singh as Lankesh.
