Arjun Rampal Seeks Time For His Next NCB Summon In Drug Nexus Case Post Sushant Singh Rajput's Death
Sushant Singh Rajput's unfortunate death has opened a can of worms regarding the Indian film industry, one of which is an alleged drug nexus. Well, the likes of Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan and Bharti Singh among others have been interrogated in this matter. Last month, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) conducted a raid at Arjun Rampal's house, from where a banned drug was seized. A few days later, the actor, along with girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades, was summoned by the NCB at their office. The Om Shanti Om actor was called for the second time Nov 13.

Only yesterday, the news of Arjun Rampal getting summoned for the third time had surfaced online. As per a tabloid, Rampal was asked to appear before NCB on December 16, that is, today. However, if a report in ANI is anything to go by, Arjun has asked for time to get summoned for the third time. "Mumbai: Actor Arjun Rampal seeks time till 21st December, to appear before Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). NCB had summoned the actor today in a drug-related case probe," read ANI's tweet.

As per a report in Times Now, the NCB has found another set of evidence and perhaps that's the reason why they have Arjun to appear again. During their raid, the NCB officials had taken over Arjun's laptops, mobile phones and tablets from his residence.

In an earlier conversation with us, Arjun rubbished his connection with any drug nexus. He had said, “I have nothing to do with drugs, now even the NCB is satisfied. I have submitted a valid prescription of the tablets found at my residence. The officers are really doing a good job. They are asking about those who are linked to the cases being investigated. It's wrong to malign someone's image and I am cooperating with the agency." (ALSO READ - Arjun Rampal Not Shaken By NCB Summon, Says, ‘I Have Nothing To Do With Drugs’ - EXCLUSIVE)
