What’s happening with Dibakar Banerjee’s starring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar? While many have forgotten about this Arjun-Parineeti starrer, the actor as he promotes his upcoming movie Panipat was quizzed on the same. Though the film was announced to releasing in the past couple of times, maker, as well as the actor,r never confirmed specific release date. All thanks to the male lead now, who cared to shed some light on the pending release of the same.

Arjun in conversation with PTI, finally revealed the film being put on the back burner for a little longer now. Backed by Yash Raj Films, the actor was heard saying, that production banner, will first get done with the release of their yet another upcoming venture Mardaani 2 and then shall announce the release date of Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. Arjun said, “It will release after Panipat. Moving onto the next question, when the actor was further asked if the makers are planning to release it digitally, Arjun’s reply simply conveyed that the actor is not aware of it. He said, “If you've met Adi (Aditya Chopra) and he has told you that then!”

Mardaani 2 starring Rani Mukerji has already left the audience in an awe of the actress; it is set to release on December 13, 2019. Meanwhile, Arjun Kapoor-Kriti Sanon’s Panipat, historical Indian war drama will release a week prior on December 6.




Arjun’s Peshwa portrayal was compared to Ranveer Singh from Bajirao Mastani; he was also trolled online for his failed attempt to play the Peshwa warrior following the release of its trailer.
