Arbaaz Khan: 'Malaika Arora Has The Custody Of My Child And Didn’t Want To Even Fight For Custody'
It was in the year 2017 that of the most celebrated couples of Bollywood – Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora – parted ways. However, now, both Arbaaz and Malaika have moved on with their respective partners. While Malaika Arora is seeing Arjun Kapoor, Arbaaz Khan has found love in Italian model Giorgia Adriani. Well, the estranged couple continues to maintain a cordial relationship, majorly for their son Arhaan Khan. In his recent interview with Pinkvilla, the Dabangg 3 producer was asked Arhaan’s reaction to his divorce with Malaika.

Arbaaz Khan said how things with Malaika Arora had reached a stage where the only divorce seemed to be the solution. “When you have a child, it is a very difficult but a necessary step. It had come to a point where this was the only way to go about it to make this equation as okay as possible,” said the actor. Upon being quizzed about Arhaan’s reaction, the actor said, “My boy was almost 12 at that time, he had a fair understanding. He was aware of what was happening. There wasn’t much to explain to him.” (ALSO READ - Malaika Arora And Ujjwala Raut Have A Massive Fight Over Arbaaz Khan Making An Alleged Pass At The Supermodel?)

Soon after the divorce, Arhaan’s custody was handed over to Malaika and Arbaaz was fine with the same. Well, there’s a sensible reason behind it. Arbaaz said, “I am there for him. She has the custody of my child and didn’t want to even fight for custody because I felt when the child is younger, he needs his mother. Now he is 17, he will soon to be 18; he will make up his mind where he wants to be… he is a lovely boy.”

On the work front, Arbaaz Khan’s latest film, Dabangg 3 starring Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and others hit the big screens on December 20, 2019.
