Arbaaz Khan Admits They 'Didn't Get A Few Things Right On Dabangg 3': 'Unfortunately, Some Sequels Don’t Match The Success Of Previous Films'
Arbaaz Khan has been in headlines ever since his popular talk show ‘Pinch Season 2’ premiered. The actor-director has been himself making some candid confessions along with celebrity guests on his show. Recently, in a promo, he was seen apologising to a fan for making ‘Dabangg 3.’

Arbaaz later clarified that it was just banter and that he is not apologetic about any of his films. The ace filmmaker also mentioned that there will always be some people who won’t like a film.

Later, in a chat with Pinkvilla, Arbaaz stated that he feels the makers took away the rawness and grey elements from the character of Chulbul Pandey, which probably resulted in lukewarm response to Dabangg 3. “We all worked hard on the film. Unfortunately, some films don’t match the success of previous films but it shouldn’t deter you from moving forward. We know a few things which we didn’t get right on Dabangg 3 and we will be conscious of them in Dabangg 3,” he said.

Adding to this, he also cited an example of Sylvestor Stallone’s Rocky Franchise and explained how despite a film or two not living up to the expectation of the audience, it continued.

“There have been franchises where not all films have done well. Rocky has six to seven parts, and some of them met with a lukewarm response. But they came back with another one, reignited the whole spirit about the character and made the franchise likeable again. We have got a fantastic character in hand, and a very good franchise. We have to work harder to keep it going,” the director further stated.

Arbaaz Khan has returned with the second season of his popular talk show, Pinch. The first season was graced by celebs - including Salman Khan, Ayushmann Khuranna, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, Ananya Panday and Tiger Shroff.
