Bollywood filmmaker, actress Anushka Sharma and Indian cricketer Virat Kohli are currently over the moon as they welcomed their baby boy Akaay a few months back. The new mommy recently made her first appearance after giving birth to their son during IPL 2024. Well, ever since the birth of their daughter Vamika, they have maintained that the paparazzi should respect their child’s privacy by not sharing her photos or videos on social media. They have continued the same with their newborn son.
As a token of gratitude, Anushka and Virat recently sent out gift hampers to the paparazzi for being thoughtful and safeguarding their children from the media glare. On Tuesday, Viral Bhayani took to Instagram to share a video of unwrapping the gift hamper, packed with essential and daily use items like a smartwatch, power bank, water bottle, and many others. They even attached a heartfelt note with the hamper. Quoted by the Indian Express, the note read, “Thank you for respecting the privacy of our kids and for always being cooperative! Anushka Sharma tied the knot with her husband Virat Kohli in 2017, in a beautiful intimate wedding ceremony in Tuscany. They welcomed their first child, a daughter Vamika in January 2021 and their son Akaay in February 2024.
On the work front, last seen in Zero, co-starring Katrina Kaif and Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma has Chakda Xpress in her pipeline. She will be seen essaying the role of Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami in the upcoming sports film. Set to stream on Netflix, the movie is directed by Prosit Roy.
