Virat Kohli’s innings were praised by cricketing pundits all over the world, the chase master also got special praise from his wife and Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma
Bollywood star Anushka Sharma has often been supportive of Virat Kohli and she has always stood by him through thick and thin. She yet again praised her hubby and Indian cricketer for his excellent innings against New Zealand in ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.
The latest heartfelt post comes after India’s victory over New Zealand by four wickets on Sunday, October 22 at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala. While New Zealand chose to bat first, Daryl Mitchell (130 off 127) guided New Zealand to a total of 273 in their allotted 50 overs.
In the second innings, India chased down the target in 48 overs courtesy of another Virat Kohli masterclass who scored 95 (104) to help India register their fifth consecutive game in the ongoing World Cup.
While Kohli’s innings were praised by cricketing pundits all over the world, the chase master also got special praise from his wife and Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma.

Taking to her Instagram handle to share clips of Kohli’s innings on her story and wrote, “Always Proud of You,” and “Storm Chaser”.
Sadly, Kohli missed out on his second consecutive hundred in the tournament as he got dismissed while trying to achieve the milestone with a big heave over deep mid-wicket.
The Delhi-born cricketer missed out on levelling the Cricketing God Sachin Tendulkar’s record of most ODI hundreds (49) by just five runs. Kohli recently scored his 48th ODI hundred against Bangladesh during India’s fourth fixture of the World Cup in Pune.
With four league matches and knockout games yet to be played in the tournament, the star batter will get enough chances to surpass his idol in the ongoing cricketing extravaganza.
