Many stars have taken to social media to express their shock at the ongoing unrest and have extended their support with the country. The latest celebs to voice their opinions and express shock at the unrest are Anushka Sharma and Kangana Ranaut. Both the actresses shared their reactions to the video of people falling off a flight in Kabul, trying to flee Afghanistan.
Taking to her Instagram stories, the 'Sultan' actress shared a screenshot of the news piece that had a disturbing image of an aircraft flying in the air and a human falling off the aircraft mid-air. Sharing the picture, Anushka wrote, “This is heart wrenching. Noone should have to go through this..”
Kangana Ranaut also shared the video and captioned it as, "When life is worse than death.”

While speaking with the Times of India, veteran actor Hema Malini recalled the time when she shot the film ‘Dharmatma’ with Feroz Khan in Kabul. Talking about the current Afghanistan crisis, she said, “It is so sad to see what it is happening and see people trying to escape from the country. That mad rush at the airport is very scary. “The Kabul I knew was so beautiful and my experience there was very nice.”
For the unversed, residents of Afghanistan are trying to flee the country after insurgent group Taliban took control of the country, just weeks after launching an offensive in the wake of the withdrawal of US and Nato forces. Several videos of men and women flocking to airports and clinging to airplanes' wheels but fell off, landing on house roofs have flooded the Internet.
