Anil Kapoor is finally back in his iconic role as Mr. India, the titular character from Shekhar Kapur's 1987 film. It's not for a sequel, but for a Google Pixel commercial. Nonetheless, fans are awestruck by Anil's timeless resemblance in the Mr. India persona and are fervently urging for a sequel featuring him. In the latest advertisement, Jugal, the young associate of Arun Verma (Anil's character from Mr. India), ventures into a spooky mansion. Going by the ad, the actor unintentionally collides with an exquisite vase, teetering on the brink of shattering. However, to everyone's surprise, the vase begins levitating in mid-air and gently returns to its original position. Suddenly, Anil Kapoor materializes out of thin air, transforming into Mr. India, the legendary character with the remarkable ability of invisibility, courtesy of a unique bracelet. As AK makes his entrance, the iconic Mr. India theme resounds in the background. Interestingly, Mr. India's producer and Anil's elder brother, Boney Kapoor, dropped a hint about a potential sequel by posting the video on his social media, along with the caption, "Work in progress for a big screen appearance. #MrIndia #MrIndia2 @AnilKapoor." Shekhar Kapur also joined in, sharing the video on his Twitter handle, and humorously remarked, "So #MrIndia decided to be invisible for the last 30 years and now suddenly re-emerged! How come he looks the same? Maybe the bracelet doesn't just give you the power of invisibility but also eternal youth!"
Mr. India featured an ensemble cast that included Sridevi, Satish Kaushik, Annu Kapoor, Amrish Puri, Ahmed Khan, and Aftab Shivdasani, among other talented actors.
