Angad Bedi opened up about marrying his wife and actress Neha Dhupia without being financially stable
Bollywood actors Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi left their fans shocked when they announced their wedding in 2018. While they got hitched in a private ceremony, fans couldn’t help but gush about the couple. Recalling how he only had Rs 3 lakhs in his pocket while getting married to the love of his life, the actor credited his in-laws during his recent interview.
During an interview with Pinkvilla, Angad talked about the mentality of people wanting to be financially stable, well-settled and family oriented. Talking about it matters a lot, he continued, “I just feel if you know, you know and you should take the plunge, rest everything follows. I didn't have money back then, I only had Rs 3 lakh rupees when we got married. The 40-year-old actor revealed that while he was proud of his sports background and his family who supported him a lot, who he was on his own was a question he thought about a lot. He would ponder on who he is financially, emotionally, and mentally. He adds, “ I realised that if I have her by my side, my money will grow exponentially. I will give her parents a lot of credit that they were okay with which situation I was in. For the unversed, the couple today are proud parents to two kids- their daughter Mehr and their son Guriq. Angad and Neha are all set to come together for a comedy-drama penned by Chetan Bhagat. They essay the role of a married couple Raghavan Rao and Savi, who got through a tough time during the COVID-19 pandemic.
