Ananya Panday who turned 22 today is having a working birthday as she shoots for Shakun Batra’s next in Goa co-starring Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi. The actress shares this year being the first year, when she is having no plans for her birthday, but doesn’t complain about it either. As reported in Mumbai Mirror, the actress will be celebrating the birthday with her cast and crew instead of family and friends. But the diva is more upset for yet another reason.

She said, “But no complaints. It will be a different kind of celebration without family and friends but with the cast and crew.” But she adds she is more upset that she won’t be able to attend her best friend Shanaya Kapoor’s birthday which falls two days after her.  The actress also shared though she did not meet her besties Shanaya Kapoor and Suhana Kapoor during the lockdown they have remained connected via video calls and did not miss out on weekly sessions.

She said, “No, but we stayed connected through the internet, doing workouts together in the evening on video calls and ensuring we never missed out on our weekly sessions. But I definitely do miss hugging my friends.”

Getting back to work almost after six months, made the actress a little nervous. She shares ever since her debut movie Student Of The Year 2, she had not taken an off but with COVID-19 lockdown which got everything to a standstill she had forgotten to face the camera. She said, “I had not taken an off since I started Student of The Year 2 and these six months were scary and uncertain. I was afraid, I had forgotten how to face the camera. The Goa schedule will be followed by Mumbai schedule, with the makers planning to wrap the film by end of 2020.  Ananya after that shall resume the shoot of Puri Jagannadh's next co-starring Vijay Deverakonda titled as Fighters.
