Bollywood actress Ananya Panday has been at the receiving end since her film ‘Liger’ hit the theatres. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the actioner marked Ananya’s South debut opposite Vijay Deverakonda, however, she failed to impress the audience with her acting chops. Recently, the actress got brutally trolled for her Hollywood dialogue in the movie. Several netizens took to Twitter to lash out at Panday, and called her ‘nepotism product.’ Some also started a hilarious meme fest, targeting Ananya.  

#AnanyaPandey is trending on Twitter with netizens sharing funny memes about the actress. To note, the time the Gehraiyaan actress got trolled for her dialogue saying that she is going to Hollywood to pursue her career in acting. And, this particular dialogue miffed trolls as they severely criticized her for the same. One troll posted a funny photo with the caption, #Liger #AnanyaPandey acting level in every movie. Meanwhile, Liger marked Vijay’s highly-awaited Bollywood debut and saw him in the role of an aggressive MMA fighter with speech disorder stammering. As per trade reports, the film had a miserable start at the box office and it is still performing poorly. Liger is considered to be the biggest flop of Deverakonda and is expected to conclude its domestic run with around Rs 50 crore.  In a new interview with Free Press Journal, producer Charmme Kaur mentioned that multiple delays in the release of Liger greatly impacted the film. She called it a 'scary and depressing situation' for Bollywood films as they are tanking at the box office.
