Amitabh Bachchan is one of the most active celebrities on social media. The Chhere actor keeps fans updated about his personal and professional life. In his recent blog, Big B hinted that he will receive the first dose of Coronavirus vaccine as soon as he recovers from his eye surgery. Big B who is very active on social media wrote that taking the vaccine mandatory and soon he will be the one standing in the queue to take one. 

Amitabh Bachchan's post reads, "There is now the fear of another strain getting free box office results and that is unnerving... the vaccination has become mandatory and soon there shall be the conditioning for yours truly to be one such in the queue." The megastar further added, "Well as soon as the work in progress eyes gets settled.. till then its a wild world ain' it." For the uninitiated, Big B had his first eye surgery last month, while he had undergone his second eye surgery earlier this month. He keeps updating fans about his health and also thanks them for their support and prayers.

The actor was recently in the news after he was honoured with the 2021 FIAF Award for his efforts to preserve film heritage in the country. The prestigious award was presented to him virtually by Martin Scorsese and Christopher Nolan. Sharing a picture on his Instagram, Big B wrote, "I am deeply honoured to have been conferred with the 2021 FIAF Award. Thank you to FIAF and to Martin Scorsese and Christopher Nolan for bestowing the award on me in the ceremony today. Our commitment to the cause of saving India’s film heritage is unshakeable and Film Heritage Foundation will continue its efforts to build a nationwide movement to save our films.@FHF_Official @fiaf1938 @shividungarpur."

On the work front, Big B will be seen opposite Emraan Hashmi in Chhere. The trailer of the film was recently released and it received a positive response from the audience. Apart from Big B and Emraan Hashmi, Chehre also stars Krystle D'Souza, Annu Kapoor, Siddhant Kapoor, Dhritiman Chatterjee, Raghubir Yadav, and Rhea Chakraborty.
