SpotboyE has it that the Censor Board watched the Shakun Batra-directed film yesterday. Their verdict was simple – ‘Your film will get a UA certificate only if you agree to 7 cuts.’
The cuts include a scene where the middle finger is shown. The Board also expressed strong reservations against some scenes that have cuss words like f**k, vulgar words like 'pichvada' and downright dirty lines like 'naak chhoti hai aur da*** lamba hai'.
The Dharma officials tried to put forth their viewpoint but the CBFC was adamant. Soon, the cuts were accepted. Only 16 days were left for the release na?
Kapoor & Sons, which also stars Rishi Kapoor, Ratna Pathak Shah and Rajat Kapoor, is up for release on March 18.
