Alia, Shahid, Karan Johar Raise A Toast To Aamir Khan's Dangal
Dangal, which won the SpotboyE Salaam for Best Film 2016, also broke all records to become the biggest blockbuster in Indian film history. And the stars of Bollywood gathered to celebrate with Aamir Khan
Aamir Khan waited for more than a month after the release
of Dangal to throw a success bash and when he finally threw a party on
Saturday night, the A-list of Bollywood turned up.
Dangal is officially the highest grossing film in
Bollywood’s history and Aamir looked pleased as he welcomed the guests along
with wife Kiran Rao. The couple shared a romantic moment on the red carpet too
when Aamir pulled Kiran in for a sweet peck on the cheek.
The guest list was an impressive one as the filmi
fraternity came together to celebrate Aamir's labour of love.
Dangal’s director Nitesh Tiwari, along with the cast
including Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Sakshi Tanwar, Zaira Wasim were
all smiles on the red carpet.
The party was high on star power, but we definitely missed the two superstar Khans- Shah Rukh and Salman.
Vidya Balan walked in hand-in-hand with husband Siddharth
Roy Kapur.
Alia Bhatt came in with director friend Ayan Mukerji.
Shahid Kapoor looked suave in black was accompanied by wife Mira Rajput. While
Kriti Sanon showed off her toned pins in a short blue outfit, Sunny Leone
picked a sexy black number for the night.
The red carpet witnessed a whole lot of bonding -
if on one hand, veteran actresses Waheeda Rehman and Asha Parekh posed
together, on the other hand, former beauty queens Dia Mirza and Lara Dutta were
seen chatting.
Soon enough Karan Johar walked in all smiles and was
followed by none other than Rekha, who looked resplendent in a golden saree.

Khan, the red carpet was awash with happy, smiling couples.
Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Radhika Apte, Harshvardhan Kapoor too
joined the party.
Ranbir Kapoor and Raju Hirani gave the party a miss
because they were in the middle of shooting the biopic of Sanjay Dutt.
