Alia Bhatt To Give A Starry Touch To Sister Shaheen's Book Launch Event
The bonding between Bhatt sisters is known to one and all. Daughters of Mahesh Bhatt-Soni Razdan, Alia and Shaheen are always there for each other and stand tall through thick and thin. Last year, Shaheen penned a digital book, ‘I've never been (un) Happier' describing her battle against depression, which became a talking point in the industry. It also created awareness amongst the masses regarding mental health to a certain extent. Now the publishers have decided to release a paperback of Shaheen's digital book, giving Bhatt family yet another reason to celebrate.

Just to throw light on how sister Alia played a pivotal part in it, she fully supported Shaheen and spoke about her on social media platforms via her tweets and even during media interactions. In one of her tweets, Alia said that Shaheen battled with depression since the age of 12 and saluted Shaheen for coming out and speaking about it without being afraid or worried. Now the actress has taken yet another step to help Shaheen.

While publishers have decided to release the paperback, Alia will be actively participating in the promotions of the same. What an idea! Remember how Alia's social media post made Shaheen and her book hero on the online platform. We feel with its hardcopy coming into the market, Alia won't mind going in full swing hosting promotional events for the book launch and many more to grab everyone's attention.

Her tweet reads, "Shaheen, you are brilliant! My sister has battled and lived with depression since she was 12. She speaks her heart out and without any hesitation addresses the giant elephant in the room - Mental health and the lack of our understanding & acceptance!"

Besides Alia Bhatt's sister, actress Deepika Padukone has also spoken about battling depression in her life and how she came out of it as a survivor. Deepika founded Live Love Laugh Foundation in the year 2015, dealing with mental health and wellness.
