Alia Bhatt Slams Paparazzi For Invading Her Privacy; Requests Mumbai Police To Take Action Against Media For Their 'Gross Invasion'
Over the past few years, the paparazzi culture in India has grown substantially especially for the celebrities of the Hindi entertainment industry. The lines between what is ethical and what is not have blurred as paps often invade the private lives of actors to get an interesting scoop. Even after being called out multiple times and being requested to stop, media publications continue to work with paps to get 'candid' pictures of celebrities going about their day. An esteemed media publication has now been called out by actress Alia Bhatt for invading her privacy.

The actress on Tuesday evening took to social media to lash out at ETimes for publishing pictures clicked by paps, when she was enjoying her time at her own home. Expressing her anger, Alia revealed that she was spending a normal afternoon in her home when she felt like someone was watching her. When she did look up she saw two unknown men clicking her pictures from the terrace of her neighbouring building. Sharing the picture and tagging Mumbai police, the 29-year-old actress wrote, "Are you kidding me? I was at my house having a perfectly normal afternoon sitting in my LIVING ROOM when I felt something watching me... I looked up and saw two men on the terrace of my neighbouring building with a camera right at me. In what world is this okay and allowed? This is a gross invasion of someone's privacy! There's a line you just cannot cross and it's safe to say all lines were crossed today!" While this is not the first time something like this has happened, the sad reality is that this wouldn’t be the last time.

Talking about her personal life, Alia tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, actor Ranbir Kapoor in April and announced her first pregnancy in June. They welcomed their baby daughter Raha in November and have been taking care of their little munchkin all by themselves alongside handling their work commitments.

On the work front, she will return to shoot for Karan Johar’s comeback movie Rani Aur Rocky Ki Prem Kahani. She will also be seen in Farhan Akhtar’s directorial Jee Le Zara alongside Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and is all set to make her Hollywood debut with Heart Of Stone.
