Alia Bhatt calls daughter Raha her ‘lucky mascot’ and reveals it’s now all about getting her approval and a little smile!
Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt, who embraced motherhood last year, has been serving as an inspiration for all working moms. During media interviews, she has been gushing over her new motherhood phase and can’t stop admiring her baby girl. In a new interview, she spoke about her life post-motherhood and called Raha her 'lucky mascot'. The proud mommy also mentioned that she now before leaving home waits for Raha’s approval and her little smile.
Speaking with News18, the Raazi star mentioned that her priorities after motherhood have changed a hundred percent. “It’s a very happy and beautiful progression that comes very naturally. I believe its human nature where your world revolves around yourself up to a certain point with maybe only a select few people coming after you and your needs, and suddenly, it’s all about this one person and their needs and it’s all related to that,” Bhatt shared. Further, calling Raha her ‘lucky charm’, the 30-year-old actor credits her daughter for all the success that is pouring her way. “Raha is, of course, my lucky mascot (smiles). Anything I do now is to make her proud and happy,” the proud mommy asserted. In the same interview, Alia also spoke about how she has now started to look at her daughter for approval. She narrated an incident saying, “Even when I was coming here, I was all dressed up and went to say bye to her. Everyone in the room told her, ‘See how nice mama’s looking.’ She was looking at me and I was waiting for her to give me that smile so that I could leave home. It’s all about getting her approval and little smile. She’ll always be the biggest charm in my life.”
Alia and her actor husband Ranbir Kapoor welcomed their first child, daughter Raha in November 2022 about seven months after their wedding. Meanwhile, the actress has become the first Indian Global Ambassador for Gucci and is currently in Seoul for Gucci Cruise 2024 show.
