Ali Abbas Zafar Tests Salman Khan's Guns For Tiger Zinda Hai
Ali Abbas Zafar is leaving no stone unturned for his next directorial venture, Tiger Zinda Hai. The Sultan (2016) director has been traveling all over Northern Africa and Central Europe finalizing shooting locations for the Salman Khan starter. After finalizing the locales, Ali is now in the process of finalizing Tiger's ammunition.

Yes, you read that right. The director is himself making sure that Salman's character Tiger gets the best of the best in ammunition when he fights the bad guys in the film. Generally these things are taken care of by the assistant directors or the production managers, but Ali is supervising everything first hand. He is making sure that he checks everything before they are finally selected for the shoot. He posted a video of the gun test on his Twitter account a while back.

Tiger Zinda Hai is the sequel to Ek Tha Tiger (2012). Salman and Katrina Kaif will be seen reprising their roles from the first instalment of the movie.

However, the sequel has a change in the directorial seat. While Ek Tha Tiger was directed by Kabir Khan, Ali is going to direct this sequel. Interestingly, Kabir was the first choice to direct the sequel but he withdrew from the project since he now wants to be the Line Producer to all his directorials. However, Yash Raj Films (YRF), the producer of Tiger Zinda Hai, did not allow this to happen since it was against their company's policy.

Guess Ali Zafar is feeling the pressure from all ends- pressure of replacing his guru Kabir Khan in the sequel, pressure of keeping up with the record his last film Sultan created at the box-office and the pressure of delivering a film better or the least at par to its sequel- Ek Tha Tiger! No wonder he is checking on the smallest of details.
