Akshay Kumar’s Surprise: A "Non-Political Chat" With Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Akshay Kumar recently turned an interviewer for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A day before, the PadMan actor hinted towards getting into some ‘unknown and uncharted territory’ and had asked fans to stay tuned. Later, it was speculated that the actor may contest General Elections 2019. But Kumar was quick to clear the air and rubbish the rumours. Within a few hours of these reports being afloat, he had said, “Grateful for all the interest shown in my previous tweet but just clarifying in light of some wild speculation, I am not contesting elections.”

Finally, last night, Khiladi Kumar told his fans what exactly he was talking about. The superstar revealed that he was referring to his interview of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He took to social media and assured that his conversation with the Prime Minister will be a "breather" during election time.

The Gold actor took to social media and gave us a sneak peek for his recent work. In his tweet he wrote, “While the whole country is talking elections and politics, here’s a breather. Privileged to have done this candid and COMPLETELY NON POLITICAL freewheeling conversation with our PM @narendramodi . Watch it at 9AM tomorrow via @ANI for some lesser known facts about him!”

In another Tweet, he wrote, “Do you ever wonder whether PM Modi manages to laugh during the heat of the election campaign? You’ll get the answer tomorrow at 9am @ANI, in an informal and non-political conversation that I got the chance to do with @narendramodi ji. Do watch!”

PM Modi responded to Akshay's tweet, saying, "Dear @akshaykumar, it was good talking to you about everything, except politics and elections :) I'm sure people would like watching our conversation."
