A few days ago, Akshay Kumar took to his social media to announce the multiplayer game FAU-G (Fearless And United Guards). Soon after, conspiracy theories and fake news about the game allegedly being Sushant Singh Rajput’s idea surfaced. The gaming team had earlier released a clarification and had called the rumours completely false and baseless. Now, the Bombay City Civil Court passed an interim order on Thursday against all those who have been spreading fake news and conspiracy theories, restraining them from posting and reporting on social media the fake news that FAU-G was Sushant Singh Rajput’s brainchild.
GOQii Technologies Private Limited and Studio nCore Private Limited are the creators of FAU-G, and GOQii issued a statement about the interim order passed by the court. In the statement, they informed with ‘great relief’ and ‘happiness’ that the Bombay City Civil Court has passed an interim order against ‘all the miscreants/anti-social elements who have been disseminating false and defamatory tweets, videos and messages on various social media platforms that Fearless And United Guards FAU-G Game and GOQii Smart Vital wearable with integrated SPO2, which is being used got COVID-19 remote health management was conceptualized by Late Actor Shri Sushant Singh Rajput and circulating various baseless conspiracy theories/fake news around it.’
The statement further read, “By an interim Order passed today, all such miscreants/anti-scoial elements have been restrained by the Court from posting and re-posting tweets, sharing posts, sending messages and videos on various social media platforms.” Read the entire statement below:
