Akshay Kumar-Nushrratt Bharuccha, Ishaan Khatter-Mrunal Thakur and Alia Bhatt-Vijay Varma; 6 More Fresh On-Screen Pairs To Watch Out For
We have been sharing the interesting lineup of fresh pairs that Bollywood is ready to welcome on screen soon, including the likes of Kartik Aaryan-Kiara Advani, Ranbir Kapoor- Parineeti Chopra and Sara Ali Khan- Vicky Kaushal.

Continuing that series, here’s a look at six more fresh pairs that are ready to grace our screens in the coming future:

Akshay Kumar-Nushrratt Bharuccha

Nushrratt has been climbing the ladder of success slowly and steadily, and amongst her next few films, she has one of her biggest projects, Ram Setu. After working alongside a lot of Gen-Z superstars, Nushrratt is entering the A-league with the film where she is featuring alongside Akshay Kumar. The film also features Jacqueline Fernandez.

Ishaan Khatter-Mrunal Thakur

Ishaan and Mrunal are two heartthrobs of the younger generation and the two are set to collaborate for the first time in Raja Krishna Menon’s war film Pippa. It is based on the life of Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta, a war veteran who fought during the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971. The film will be produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur and also features Priyanshu Painyuli.

The trio of Ishaan, Mrunal and Priyanshu would be seen playing siblings on screen.

Taapsee Pannu-Priyanshu Painyuli

Apart from being a part of Pippa alongside Ishaan and Mrunal, Priyanshu, who became popular as Robin from the second season of Mirzapur, also has another big film in his line-up. The actor is paired opposite Tappsee Pannu in Akarsh Khurana’s Rashmi Rocket, a film that tells the story of an athlete from Gujarat’s Kutch.

John Abraham-Divya Khosla Kumar

After making her directorial debut with Yaariyaan in 2014, followed by Sanam Re in 2016, Divya returns to face the camera in a full-fledged role after almost 17 years in Milap Milan Zaveri’s Satyameva Jayate 2, where she will be paired opposite John Abraham, who is carrying forward the legacy of Satyameva Jayate franchise.

Alia Bhatt-Vijay Varma

Vijay garnered immense praise from the critics and audiences alike for his portrayal of Moeen Bhai in Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s Gully Boy. After that, he went on to romance Janhvi Kapoor on-screen in Netflix’s horror anthology Ghost Stories and now he is all set to reunite with Alia, but this time to star opposite her in Red Chillies Entertainment’s Darlings.

Pulkit Samrat-Isabelle Kaif

Katrina Kaif’s sister Isabelle’s entry in Bollywood hasn’t been as smooth as one would have hoped. Her debut film Time To Dance was shot but then was put on the back burner before it was finally released in March this year. In between, another film of hers, Kwatha, with Aayush Sharma was announced but then that was also shelved. However, now the actress’s next is opposite Pulkit Samrat titled, Suswagatam Khushaamadeed. The film was shot in North India, around Delhi and Agra, in March and its first look has already been released.
