Buzz is, the deal has been sealed for a whopping Rs 40 crore. It’s another matter that had the sell-off been finalised earlier, it would have fetched a higher price.
When contacted, the filmmaker said, “It’s true that I have sold the digital and satellite rights of all my movie to Shemaroo, but I don’t want to divulge the amount. It's not Rs 40 crore, though. Let’s see what the future holds. All I can say is, I am in a happy space.”
