Akhil Mishra Passes Away At The Age Of 58, After An Accident; Fans And Celebrities Mourn The Untimely Demise Of The Actor- Read REPORTS
Bollywood and television actor Akhil Mishra has left for his heavenly abode at the age of 58. The shocking news has left the fans and the entertainment industry in deep shock. He became a household name for his portrayal of Librarian Dubey in Aamir Khan’s movie 3 Idiots. If the reports by the Hindustan Times are to be believed he passed away after an accident in his house. He reportedly breathed his last in the hospital.

According to the media publication, the actor was working in his kitchen when he slipped and hurt his head. He was found lying in a pool of blood, when he was rushed to the hospital. However he passed away a few hours later. His body has been sent for post-mortem. His wife German actress Suzanne Bernert was in Hyderabad for a shoot when the incident took place. She immediately rushed home after she came to know about the incident. Talking to ETimes about the same, the grieving actress said, “My heart is broken, my second half is gone.”


Adding to the report, the media publication also stated that as per another report by the Indian Express, the actor had been unwell for some time now due to blood pressure related issues. It was a few days back, during an interview, when Suzanne had revealed that her husband had put his career on hold to help her learn ‘Shudh Hindi.’ Talking about their relationship, the couple had tied the knot in 2009. They had gone on to get married with traditional rituals in 2011. Having spent more than a decade with each other, they shared the screen space in Kram and Mera Dil Dewaana.

As soon as the news of the actor’s demise started doing the rounds on social media, netizens and celebrities took to their official handles to express their shock and offer their heartfelt condolences. Cine & TV Artistes’ Association too expressed their condolences on Twitter. 


On the work front, Akhil worked tirelessly in several popular movies and television shows to establish himself as a credible actor. He was seen in shows like Uttaran, Udaan and Shrimaan Shrimati among many others. Apart from his role in 3 Idiots, he was also seen in movies like Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain, Mere Dost Picture Abhi Baki Hai, Radio, Blue Oranges, Don and many more.
