Ajay Devgn took to Instagram to laud Akshay Kumar for Bell Bottom. Replying to him, Akshay Kumar called him his 'brother' and said coming from him ‘means a lot'.
Akshay Kumar and Vaani Kapoor-starrer spy thriller ‘Bell Bottom’ has been released today and the movie is receiving good response from the audiences and the critics alike. The Ranjit Tewari’s directorial, which is inspired by a real-life hijacking event, is the first big-budget Hindi film to hit the screens since the pandemic shut cinema halls. Akshay Kumar has been receiving sweet shout outs from his friends from the industry for his brilliant stint in the movie and courageous move of releasing the movie in theatres.
And the latest celeb to shower love on him is his old friend and colleague Ajay Devgn. The latter took to his Instagram handle and shared a poster of ‘Bell Bottom’ featuring Akshay. Alongside, Ajay wrote, “Dear Akki, I’ve been hearing good reviews of Bell Bottom. Congratulations. Also, your leap of faith in making it a theatrical release is praiseworthy. With you in this @akshaykumar #BellBottom.”
Akshay Kumar was quick to take note of Ajay’s sweet post and replied to him writing, “Thank you so much Brother, means a lot. I pray Maharashtra opens up soon and you’d also able to watch it. Would Love to know your thoughts.”

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar has taken off to London with his wife Twinkle Khanna. The actor is reportedly shooting there for his next movie. After having finished his quarantine period, Akshay and Twinkle stepped out to watch ‘Bell Bottom’ and the actress shared a photo of them on her Instagram.
She wrote, “Looks like a walk in the park but we are actually heading to something even better, the screening of Mr K’s fabulous movie-Bellbottom! #mustwatch.”
Twinkle, apparently, approved the movie and called it a must watch.
Also starring Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi in prominent roles, Bell Bottom has been released in 3D today in theatres across the country.
