The Holi celebration at the Bachchans is a high-profile affair but the family has decided to not celebrate this year, as Aishwarya Rai
Bachchan's father Krishnaraj is ill and currently admitted to the Lilavati Hospital.

Suniel Shetty’s family will also not take part in the festival as Suniel’s father, Veerappa Shetty, passed away recently. While the actor is still grieving the loss of his father, his daughter Athiya Shetty is not in India. The actress is busy with her shoot in London for her upcoming film Mubarakan.

Kapoor are also in London and will skip the Holi celebrations.

Sonam Kapoor is in town
but she does not celebrate the festival of colours.The fashionista told a section of the
media: "I don't celebrate Holi too much! I used to celebrate it
when I was a kid, that time it used to be safe but nowadays I feel unsafe
to step out of my house."

Padmavati actor Ranveer
Singh is busy shooting a travel campaign in Switzerland and he too avoids Holi at all costs.
"I don't celebrate Holi. I have this OCD for cleanliness; therefore I
don't celebrate Holi," he had revealed.
Sooraj Pancholi who made debuted with the 2015
release Hero, also revealed that he won't be playing Holi this year.
In a recent interview he said "I won't play Holi this
year. Though as a kid I used to play with colours, I am now old enough to
understand that this is wastage of water, so I shouldn't do that."

The gorgeous Dia Mirza who
is also the part of Sanjay Dutt's biopic, gave up Holi a long time back. The actress
advocates the conservation of water and insists on stopping the wastage, as
Maharashtra is one of the drought-affected states in India.
