A lot goes into a filmmaker and numerous individuals are known to be a part of what we see on the big screen. While only the lead actors are credited for the success of the film, many background artists go unnoticed. One such film was Amitabh Bachchan’s Agneepath, which wasn't a successful outing back in 1990. While many actors like Mithun Chakraborty, Danny Denzongpa, Tinnu Anand, and others made a name for themselves, the 71-year old actor Resham Arora is still facing the burnt of life and the actor is reported to be in a severe financial crunch.

Resham, in his career played quite a few roles. He was seen as the the doctor in 'Agneepath' who treats Mithun Chakraborty, and the jailor in 'Khuda Gawah'. He has also featured in several other films and TV shows.

Speaking to ETimes, the actor detailed the struggles he has faced and shared, “There is absolutely no work for me. This has been the state ever since the lockdown began. While people say 'cheezein khul rahi hai (things are opening up now)', I still don't see sufficient work opportunities available.”

The senior actor narrated his heart-wrenching story and revealed the series of tragic events that led to his hardship.

He detailed, “I fell off a train a couple of years ago, and then was bitten in the leg by some strange insect at a shoot for Ashwini Dheer's show 'Chidiya Ghar', which hindered my movement for some time. Being in a precarious condition, tragedy further struck me when my wife's eyesight started deteriorating; she contracted acute glaucoma. I am seriously in need of work. CINTAA (Cine & TV Artistes Association) has helped me a bit but that's definitely not enough to keep us in good condition. I am broke. I need financial aid."

Dealing with the adversity and uncertainty of life in showbiz, the senior actor has been hoping that his peers from the film industry will help revive his career and turn his misfortune around.
