As a precautionary measure, BMC has sealed Rekha’s neighbour Zoya Akhtar’s house in Mumbai and declared it a COVID-19 containment zone

After Rekha, Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar’s Residence Declared As COVID-19 Containment Zone By BMC
Coronavirus is spreading like wildfire in India. There has been a constant rise in COVID-19 cases and the cases are shooting up with every single day. Recently veteran actress Rekha’s security guard was tested positive and her residence was sealed and declared as a containment zone by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. Now as a precautionary measure, BMC has also sealed Rekha’s neighbour Zoya Akhtar’s house and declared it a containment zone. Zoya her family and staff are fine. All have tested negative.

BMC officials have placed a banner on the main gate at Zoya Akhtar’s house. The banner read, "This area has been declared as a ‘containment area’ as a resident is found positive in the Corona Virus test. The entry to this area is restricted and violation of rules is punishable. Maintain social distance and stay safe.” In addition to this message, COVID-19 helpline numbers have also been mentioned in case of an emergency. Zoya’s bungalow is just next to Rekha’s bungalow.

Rekha too has undergone COVID-19 tests but the results are still awaited. Late last night, Sara Ali Khan informed her fans that her driver has been tested positive, while she along with mother Amrita and brother Ibrahim have tested negative. On the professional front, Zoya last directed a web series Ghost Series. The web series had an ensemble cast of Mrunal Thakur, Avinash Tiwary, Janhvi Kapoor, Raghuvir Yadav, Sobhita Dhulipala, Vijay Varma and Pavail Gulati.
