Madhuri Dixit,
who has given us some beautiful performances in films like Hum Aapke Hain Koun,
Saajan and Tezab is one of the most talented actress the Hindi film industry
has ever had.
After making a
mark in Bollywood, Madhuri Dixit Nene is all set to venture into Marathi
cinema. According to reports in a leading daily, Madhuri will soon be making
her debut in a Marathi movie and the film is reportedly going on floors by the
end of this year. Interestingly, Madhuri is also producing the film with her husband
Dr. Ram Nene.
Confirming the
news, the actress said, “Marathi cinema is evolving beautifully and it makes me
proud to see such incredible stories come alive on screen. I have received many
scripts over the years since I was always open to acting in Marathi films.
However, no script excited me as much as this one. The moment I heard the
story, I knew that I wanted to be a part of it.”
The film will be
of a slice-of-film genre based on a woman who is on her path of
self-realisation. The film is a family entertainer, a slice – of – life drama,
according to reports. No other details of the film have been out so far.
