Aditya Pancholi Granted Interim Relief In Rape Case By A Sessions Court
It was just yesterday, that we reported about actor Aditya Pancholi filing for an anticipatory bail in connection to a rape case. Now, the latest update is that he has been granted an interim relief in the case by a Dindoshi Sessions Court until July 19.

A tweet on the official handle of ANI read: "Actor Aditya Pancholi has been granted interim relief till 19th of July by Dindoshi Sessions court in a rape case filed against him."


The actor was accused of rape and assault by an actress and a case was registered at the Versova police station. The Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) had informed to Mid-Day about the FIR. "We filed an FIR under Sections 376 (rape), 328 (causing hurt by means of poison, etc with intent to commit an offence), 384 (punishment for extortion), 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint), 342 (punishment for wrongful confinement), 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code," he was quoted as saying.

Earlier, Aditya in response to these reports told ANI over a telephonic conversation that these are false charges and that he has the evidence to prove the same. The actor had said, "I am being falsely implicated in this case. I have all the evidence and video in this case. I am ready to cooperate with the Mumbai Police. If they will call me for my statement, then I will cooperate. I am ready for investigation. I knew that a case will be registered against me. I am not going anywhere. The police have not approached me after the FIR was registered.”
