Aditya Chopra celebrates his birthday today. Undoubtedly, he is one of the biggest filmmakers in India. He made his directorial debut with Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. DDLJ starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol is one of the most successful films in the history of Indian cinema. The movie remains one of the favourite films of many. From the storyline to dialogues, DDLJ has a special place in the hearts of many.

Apart from DDLJ, his other directorial works include Mohabbatein, which launched by his brother Uday Chopra. Mohabbatein also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. The movie marked the first big-screen collaboration of SRK and Big B. The movie also starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as SRK's love interest. It was a hit among the masses. Aditya Chopra was only 18-years-old when he assisted his father Yash Chopra for his directorial Sridevi, Rishi Kapoor and Vinod Khanna starrer Chandni and Aaina starring Jackie Shroff, Amrita Singh and Juhi Chawla.

Aditya was 23-years-old when he began working on his directorial debut film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. The Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer is a fan-favourite for many reasons.

Aditya was diagnosed with severe APD as a child and struggled with it throughout his teenage years.
