There’s no second thought about it, Prabhas and Kriti Sanon’s Adipursh was one of the much-awaited films of 2023 and it reiterates the timeless tale of Ramayan to the silver screen. The magnum opus starrer was helmed by Om Raut, and expectations from the fans were sky-high, as the film had an alleged budget of around Rs 600 Crores, adding to it, the film narrates the epic mythological story of Ramayana.

However, the response was unexpected! 

Shortly after the film was released, Adipurush garnered mixed reviews from critics and netizens alike, despite all its marketing gimmicks and all the hype. Netizens in their reviews, slammed the film for making a mockery of India’s most ancient epic. Well, that’s not all, even the movie buffs had the most hilarious reactions and now social media users are trolling the director with hilarious memes. 

Reacting to the film, a few users wrote, “#AdipurushReview just see this ravan and decide to watch #Adipurush 👎👎👎”. “After watching visuals coming out of #Adipurush , My respect for Ramananda sagae has gone up 100x,26 years ago, without any technology and limited resources, he created magic, absolute magic which even after so many years remains unmatched. This is pathetic.” 

Another wrote, “Hope this is fake..but who knows.” A fourth user wrote, “Neutral Audience are comparing 600 cr budget film with PUBG & free fire.
