ADHM-Shivaay War Continues: KJo, Ajay Skip Event To Avoid Face-Off
Here's the latest update from the world of Bollywood. We bet you wouldn't want to miss this. Read on for details... The two were expected at Yuvraj Singh’s fashion initiative but were a no-show
Yuvraj Singh launched his fashion initiative, YouWeCan, with a grand event last evening (Yuvraj Singh: I will marry Hazel in the first week of December, Sep 3). While B-town celebs like Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and others were present, two stars were inconspicuous by their absence. We are talking about Karan Johar and Ajay Devgn.

Both KJo and Ajay were said to have confirmed their presence at the fashion show earlier. Which probably explains why the invite sent out to the media mentioned that the two stars would be present at the event. Not just that, there were two seats reserved in the front row at the venue, with Ajay and Karan’s names on them. However, both were a no-show. Interestingly, Ajay’s wife Kajol did make an appearance but her hubby dearest was nowhere in sight.
Guess KJo and Ajay wanted to avert a face-off in the light of their on-going Ae Dil Hai Mushkil vs Shivaay war. Plus, they were aware that the media would pose a host of questions on the controversy to them. And the two have already said what they had to say on the matter. So both may have thought it best to avoid the limelight for some time.

For those who’ve come in late, Ajay released a tape where KRK and Ajay’s manager Kumar Mangat are having a conversation in which KRK claims that Karan has paid him Rs 25 lakh to run down Shivaay and promote ADHM (Devgn releases tape saying that Karan has paid KRK to run down Shivaay, Sep 2)

While KRK claimed that these allegations were baseless, Ajay stuck to his guns (ADHM-Shivaay War: Ajay Says KRK Is Lying, Sep 2). Karan, who initially maintained a stoic silence on the subject, finally spoke up yesterday. The filmmaker refused to add fuel to the fire and simply stated, “My self-respect, reputation, company reputation, upbringing doesn’t allow me to dignify this question with a response” (Karan Johar breaks his silence over ADHM-Shivaay-KRK controversy, Sep 3).
