Abhishek Kapoor Says Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death News Left Him Numb As He Had Watched Him Die Several Times Onscreen
Sudden news of actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death still comes as a shock to many, the actor passed away on June 14, 2020 at his Bandra residence and as per reports in the media, he died due to suicide. Today filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor shared a behind the scenes video of the late actor's debut movie, Kai Po Che. The climax scene, where he shared he had gone numb when he got the news of the actor’s death. Reason behind going numb was the filmmaker had cried several times when he watched the actor die in his movie. 

Abhishek revealed in his caption, that he had cried every single time he saw the actor die in reel life. From the time he shot it, to it was edited, to watching it with background score and then again in Kedarnath. Hence, the news of his death in real life, left him numb. The BTS video has the director guiding Rajkummar Rao and the late actor SSR for the climax scene. He also went to the extent of actually performing it on his own. 

Abhishek Kapoor in his Instagram post wrote, “Ep 6- the climax We were so charged about this story as we were writing it.i remember I cried when we wrote the climax, i cried when we shot it and i cried when i saw the edit.. i cried most when i saw it with the background score.. i saw ishaan die so many times and then again in kedarnath.. i guess thats why on 14 th june when we got the terrible news , i went numb.... like i still am..”
