Prior to this, we told you that Abhishek Bachchan had walked out from JP Dutta’s film Paltan and Harshvardhan Rane had stepped into his shoes. When Abhishek had backed out, Nidhi Dutta of JP Films had said, "Abhishek Bachchan is no longer part of Paltan for reasons best known to him. But we also believe that especially in the movies we make, it's the soldiers sitting up there that choose who will play them and recreate their lives on screen. Nevertheless we wish him luck with his future endeavours.”
