Abhishek Bachchan was recently in the news as it was reported that he suffered an injury while shooting for his upcoming film. As many already know, Amitabh Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan Nanda paid him a visit at the hospital. And now, taking to Instagram, Abhishek shared a photo of his injured hand and confirmed that he got injured and is now back to work.

Sharing a photo, he wrote in the caption, "Had a freak accident in Chennai on the set of my new film last Wednesday. Fractured my right hand. Needed surgery to fix it! So a quick trip back home to Mumbai. Surgery done, all patched-up and casted. And now back in Chennai to resume work. As they say... The show must go on! And as my father said.... Mard ko dard nahin hota! Ok, ok, ok it hurt a little. Thank you all for your wishes and get-well-soon messages."

Taking to the comment section, Shweta Bachchan Nanda wrote, "Best patient ever." Bobby Deol dropped a comment saying, "Hope you get well soon." Navya Naveli Nanda and Karan Johar dropped heart emoticons on the post. Abhishek's best friend and actor Sikandar Kher commented, "Never looked better.. mask and sling are a vibe." One fan wrote, "We hope the pain goes away soon and yes the show must go on." Abhishek Bachchan last starred in The Big Bull, inspired by the story of stockbroker Harshad Mehta. The film was released on Disney+ Hotstar. The actor's performance was loved by the masses. Up next, he has interesting projects in the pipeline. He will be seen in Bob Biswas and Dasvi. He has also reportedly acquired the rights of the 2019 Tamil thriller 'Oththa Seruppu Size 7'. He is currently shooting for the same in Chennai.
